Under the slogan "January 2026 marks 30 years of providing the best Jazz in Uruguay"
From January 7th to 11th, 2026, Punta del Este will be celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the creation of its International Jazz Festival by Francisco Yobino, who over time has had the support of Maestro Paquito D'Rivera in the musical direction.
As always, Yobino and Paquito invite musicians who are at their peak with their new hits. The stage of the emblematic and beautiful Finca El Sosiego has hosted top-tier artists such as: Anat Cohen, Bruce Barth, Bebo Valdes, Elio Villafranca & The Jazz Syncopators, Paquito D`Rivera, Benito Gonzalez, Alon Yavnai, Diego Urcola, Popo Romano, Alex Brown, David Feldman, Nicolas Mora and Vicente Archer, among others.
The guest at the Festival are now: Duduka Da Fonseca, Maucha Adnet, Elio Villafranca, Brianna Thomas, Diego Urcola, Juan Chiavassa and more.
Adriana Mateo will also be capturing great images.

Panama Jazz Festival 2026
The Panama Jazz Festival 2026 will be held from January 15 to 17, 2026, at the Ciudad del Saber, returning to its original format with afternoon and evening concerts, educational clinics, and tributes, highlighting in this edition a tribute to Colón saxophonist Gladstone “Bat” Gordon. It will feature international artists such as Ravi Coltrane, Brian Blade, and John Patitucci. Also present will be Tia Fuller & Berklee Global Jazz Institute.
The renowned pianist Danilo Perez is the founder and leader of this prestigious festival. Throughout the year, he carries out countless activities that have helped children and young people enter the fabulous world of jazz and Latin jazz.
Habana Jazz Plaza Fest 2026
The Havana Jazz Plaza Festival 2026 (41st edition, Jan 25 - Feb 1) is confirmed for Havana and other Cuban cities, featuring major Cuban jazz stars like Roberto Fonseca, Harold López-Nussa, Ernán López-Nussa, Frank Fernández, Dayramir González, Alain Pérez, and international guests from the US, UK, Spain, and France, with tributes to Cuban music icons and performances blending jazz with Afro-Cuban rhythms at venues like the Teatro Nacional and Fábrica de Arte Cubano (FAC). The lineup is still developing but promises a diverse mix of established names and emerging talents, celebrating Cuba's rich musical heritage.
